DO YOU AGREE? Wizkid Paved Way For Davido & Burna Boy In The Nigerian Music Industry

Popular Beat FM UK, presenter Shopsydoo blows hot on FameTV interview when he was analyzing the Afro Pop emergence.

He stated that If not for emergence of a young Wizkid into the Nigerian music sphere as at then, it won’t have opened the Eyes of Davido, Burna Boyand other young acts to the scene.

He explained further that it was the success of Wizkid, in stacking young fans and money that gingered the likes of Davido and Burna to have the courage to take up the trade.

In my own reason, what Shopsydoo is saying now is that, if Davido came on board before Wizkid, he wouldn’t have make it in the Music industry.

I personally think this is wrong, cause Davido debut single “Dami Duro” carved his own niche in the industry and it didn’t bask on Wizkid “Holla At Your Boy” glory at all.
